Games are played on Discord (voice) and Roll20: https://app.roll20.net/join/20644969/RhMPXA(The Age of Worms - Saarivalkea)
My region is Saarivalkea: https://tinyurl.com/Saarivalkea

Style of Play
I run fast-paced, linear one shot style adventures inspired by mythical Finnish themes. Each of my typical 3.5 hour adventures can expect 3 combat encounters, one puzzle or trap and a meaningful NPC or role play interaction.
I very much like to follow the rules and default to 2024 rules (sorry, grapplers). Creativity and teamwork is to be rewarded. The fun > story > RAW.
Current Adventures
The Age of Worms (Now Running as of Jan 2026) - Designed for characters starting at level 1 and rising to level 20 by the end of the year. Welcome to DiamondLake, a sullen mining village where strange lanterns burn at midnight and hooded figures chant forgotten invocations over a flooded sinkhole older than recorded history. Those who linger too close to its black waters rarely return unchanged.
The Vermillion Mining Company - an open table West Marches game (by player request - no outside players - all characters created at level 1 inside the region) - A West Marches campaign is a style of Dungeons & Dragons built around player direction and exploration. Instead of following a single plotted storyline, players choose the goals, chart the expeditions, and shape the world through their actions. The Game Master presents a living, reactive frontier — dangerous, mysterious, and ever-changing set near the Vermillion Mines of Chateauclair in Gildas — but it’s the players who decide where to go, who to play with, what to pursue, and and maybe most importantly, when to play.
Welcome to Saarivalkea ( New as of Feb 2026) - Each week is a connected but stand alone game centered on....well, you will just have to find out.
Character Building
I encourage you to develop a backstory, but keep it simple. A strong concept is better than a long history. Your real story unfolds through play - your past will catch up with you soon enough. Bring secrets, debts or obligations, but leave room for the world to shape your fate.
I don't allow evil characters. I don't allow PvP.
If you roll for stats, you must tag me prior to rolling. You may use point buy if you prefer. Same with hit points. All races are acceptable in my region.
My Table Rule: No first level character may have an ability score above 17 unless they rolled an 18 at character creation.
How We Play (Table Rules)
- Be Cool: If you are unsure what this means, ask me. Ignore or break this rule and you will be warned once, then removed from the region. Share the table with your fellow adventurers. No one person should dominate the game.
- BAN LIST:
- No "tech" or extreme RAW readings of rules. See rule of cool. Rest casting is allowed.
- No circle casting
- No silvery barbs
- NERF list:
- 1 Phantom Stead active per caster
- 2014 Suggestion rules
- No Nystul Magic Aura and can only planar bind 1 creature at a time per party
- No Tiny Hut. Rope trick 10 minutes casting time.
- Turn Flow: After an action is taken, I’ll move to the next player. If you want to reposition or interact with something further, you handle it on your own—I won’t micromanage. I reserve the right to skip your turn.
- Treasure Tracking: If you find loot, write it down. I’m not keeping track.
- Magic Item Distribution: At the end of each session, you decide who gets what. If there’s conflict, resolve it among yourselves.
- Session Length: Will be posted and adhered to. Should sessions run long, I will ask for your permission to continue, but you are not obligated to stay. There will be no penalty.
- Roll20 Chat Use: Use Roll20’s chat for quick tactics and roleplay moments between turns. This keeps the game moving.
- Pacing Matters: If a scene drags, expect me to push things forward.
