Marna lived in the woods outside of town as a Hunter-Gatherer of various items (animals for food/ plants and herbs for cooking or potions) which she would bring into town to sell either to the shop owners or the inn keeper. Sometimes she would donate her catches to the other settlers in woods when they were ill or unable to get enough food for their families during poor harvests.

She was in the market square delivering her latest batch of rabbit skins to the tanners when the attack occurred and she hid in the closest cabin and is waiting for an opportunity to leave unnoticed into the woods, when she heard a wolf outside the door...
