Fencepost was born in the seelie world, where he joined the honor guard as a young satyr. He was assigned to Amelia’s (ChefKirby) family, where he was tasked with protecting the young noble on her trek across the country to meet with other Seelie delegates from other houses. He is part of an all satyr unit called the Fiddleheads.
As a Fiddlehead, Fen has had his horns inlaid with copper. As copper oxidizes it turns green; the greener the inlays, the more experienced the soldier.
Fencepost is not his given name. As few creatures can speak sylvan, he named himself after the first thing he saw in the material plane. This is also a nod to CS Lewis with the fencepost and Mr. Tumnus.
He stands 6’2’’ but can straighten his digitigrade legs to be more intimidating. He is fairly muscled and looks strong. His features are a mix between goat and man skewing more towards human. He has a mohawk of sorts that transitions to a mane down his back. He keeps his beard trimmed and well-kept.
Fen’s personality is disciplined and responsible. He wants to do right by his Lady who he travels with and protects as her honour guard. Anybody who would like to treat with the Lady must be approved by him first. However, in true fae fashion, when he partakes in revelry he takes it as seriously as he does anything else.
