Nyrath was born in the frozen north, in a small farming village surrounded by mountains and endless snow. His people were hunters, farmers, and warriors who valued strength, loyalty, and actions over words. From a young age, Nyrath learned to hunt, track, survive harsh winters, and fight with an axe.
When he was nineteen, a terrible creature descended from the mountains and attacked his village. Nyrath's father was killed trying to defend their home. Rather than flee, Nyrath stayed behind and fought the creature alone. After a brutal battle, he managed to kill it, saving the rest of the village.
The villagers called him a hero, but Nyrath never thought of himself that way. He simply did what needed to be done.
Since that night, Nyrath has believed that he has a greater destiny. He occasionally dreams of a strange mountain beneath a red star and a mysterious figure wearing an antlered crown. He doesn't understand what the dreams mean, but he believes they are calling to him.
Nyrath judges people by their actions rather than their words. He respects hard work, courage, and those who protect their home. He loves the land he came from and would defend it without hesitation. However, the experience of losing his family has made him slow to trust others. Deep down, he believes that when things truly matter, he will ultimately have to stand alone.
Now, at twenty years old, Nyrath has left his frozen homeland to discover the meaning behind his dreams and find out what destiny has in store for him. He carries his axes, his armor, and the belief that whatever awaits him.
