Cere was raised in a Cult of Cissarna the Siren where she learned a lot of alchemical tradition. That was though, in a distant land. She can't return for reasons she's not willing to share, one of the only things she's not willing to share. Her family and her cult were tied to an assassination plot she was too young to understand.

Now, she wanders Nepurna, one of the most distant shores she could find, seeking comfort and knowledge. She is always looking for more knowledge regarding alchemy, specifically the attainment of rare potions, ingredients, and recipes.

She has found herself playing the local witch at times, but not any fame. She simply can't resist helping those in need, a sense of guilt always gnaws at her.

She hides her true form using disguises and careful magics, only revealing herself to those she trust or when her strange (to the locals) scaled form might benefit her.
