A Lanky Wood elf, who's limbs almost look too long for their body. His long hair is cut short on the sides, barring two braids that come down in front of his ear. He is occasionally marked with occasional stray ink on his cheek or in his hair show that his quill isn't clean before he tucks it behind his ear, and tends to dress for travel and keep most of his things on him at any given time/

Olarion comes from a poor background and taught himself to read using stolen books, although his fear of jail and restrictive punishments in general kept him from making crime his profession for a time, instead working as an assistant shopkeep to a merchant who traded in texts.

As he got older Olarion started developing a hunger for more esoteric, rare, and even forbidden knowledge, his fear of restrictions and desire for autonomy and freedom kept him from going down the path of pacts and patrons, but he decided to leave his steady life behind and dust off his skills with less legal means of acquisition while hoping to see other parts of the world and find the secrets they may have.
