Xhyxixlix is a Protean Artificer, who has been studying Necromancy and the art of reanimation. They aren't confident yet, but it's only a matter of time.

They were formed when a mixture of blood, embalming fluid, and other viscous fluids found their way down a drain that someone had previously poured an alchemical mixture down. The fluids all combined and after a reaction the ooze substance gained sentience.

It crawled it's way out of wherever that drain led, and started collecting bits and pieces along the way. Eventually it found the way into a dungeon and began eating the inhabitants, falling in with a group of adventurers at some point and exiting with them into the streets of Bazagon. It began assembling itself to look more humanoid to fit in with the creatures it saw the most.. and also began to delve into other dungeons with them, picking up loot and experience along the way.
