A paladin of Illus the Lantern, Ralleck chose this deity because he is a great admirer of Straegor Alexi. Growing up in Gildas as half-orcs, Ralleck and his twin brother, Uleck, faced much prejudice as they grew up. Finding sanctuary on a farm in the country side, Ralleck and his brother worked as farmhands throughout their adolescence. Ralleck uses most of his meager earnings to purchase books at a nearby bookstore. This is where he first hears of High King Straegor, a half-orc like him, and Illus the Lantern. Ralleck begins praying to Illus as best as he knows how, and makes a plan to travel to Magneland. One night bandits raid the farm. Ralleck and Uleck defend the farm from the raiders. Ralleck puts together a makeshift set of armor from scraps he looted from dead bandits.
