Claudia appears as a pale, quiet woman in her late 30s with the constant frown and half-closed eyes of someone who has experienced great sorrow. Typically, she wears a habit, coif, wimple, and apron, making her occupation as a nurse evident to all. Her demeanor is small, soft-spoken, and unsure. It's rare that she doesn't allow someone else to lead, whether or not she believes them to be qualified.

Born in the Chateauclaire in Glidas, she spent the majority of her life in an abbey dedicated to Khara the Merry, serving as nurse and infirmarian. There she met her fiancé, Thibaut DeLacroix, but before they wed, he was stricken with a horrid wasting disease with no known remedy. In desperation, she turned to worship Lia Leng, The Lady of Witches, in hopes of finding some cure. She accepted a foul bargain that she would rather not talk about, but to make a long story short, Thibaut didn't survive, and the abbey discovered her heretical practice. With nothing left for her in Glidas, she traveled to Bazagon, living amongst the small faction that pays Lia Leng tribute.
