Thokar Stonefury was born into a nomadic goliath clan that roamed the harsh mountain peaks and rocky badlands. From a young age, he proved himself in ritual combats and hunts, earning the name "Stonefury" after he single-handedly shattered a massive boulder during a landslide to save several hunters.

When a brutal border war erupted between rival human kingdoms and invading hordes, Thokar's clan was hired as elite shock troops and mercenaries. He spent years as a frontline soldier, charging into shield walls, holding mountain passes against overwhelming odds, and surviving ambushes that wiped out entire companies. He learned the discipline of formation fighting, the terror of siege warfare, and the cold reality of watching comrades fall.

The war eventually ground to a bitter stalemate, and Thokar's contract ended. Scarred in body and haunted by the endless slaughter, he grew disillusioned with fighting for coin and lords who viewed his people as disposable muscle. He left the army and now wanders as a free barbarian, seeking worthy causes, lost clan relics, or battles that actually matter. Deep down, he still carries the soldier's instinct to protect the weak and hold the line, but his rage burns hotter than ever when innocents are threatened.

Thokar is gruff and intimidating, but he respects strength, honour, and those who stand their ground. He wields two hand axes, one notched from countless clashes, the other etched with simple clan runes, and fights with the brutal efficiency of a veteran who knows exactly how to end a fight quickly.
