Tolland Woodbeard is an old haggard dwarf from a bygone era.

Once upon a time he raised a sword & shield for gold and glory in the adventuring party "Ad Astra", but... after a lifetime of adventure and an arrow to the knee, he is now retired to Calm Harbor where he spends his time telling stories to entertaining the local children.
