Faenor is an elven noble from the region of Thalvorn. When he was an infant his nursery was set ablaze for unknown reason. He survived but horribly disfigured for life. His family cared for him well but kept him secret from the outside world. Instead of residing to a life of solitude Faenor made a deal with his noble family, he would be allowed to set off into the world but only after swearing to keep his noble family's name secret.

He set out into the world with no resentment in his heart. His family had given him an education, gold, and a gentlemen's sense of honor. He saw no reason to begrudge them for not giving him their name.
