Arthuran the son of Arthur and Aleana Sulen an elderly couple residing in Bazagon. They are scholars that still teach history and arcana there. Their only son Arthuran was to go to Aspenstead to help the scribes in the library there. Proud of Arthuran's accomplishments as a mage and taking on his first apprentice, Valren (now his nemesis). Valren is an ambitious wizard who saw an opportunity to betray his mentor Arthuran and he did. Valren found out that Arthuran had hidden away secret ancient information on a variety of things. Like the ingredients and formula on how to become a lich or leads on the super weapons used in the war of 3 dooms. Valren's lust for power even ruined his marriage and relationship with his estranged half elven daughter Dalona who is a young scribe in Aspenstead. She worked with Arthuran as a friend before he went adventuring. Valren thought he had killed Arthuran by making him forget a secret word to a glyph of warding so that it would appear Arthuran died in an accident. Realizing he couldn't access his secrets that remain hidden found out some time later Arthuran may have survived. Valren now wants to capture Arthuran or force him to reveal his secrets. Secrets he no long knows due to what happened to him.
