A gnome of unusually strong build and gruff demeanor, Hostis was part of a family of sailors before wanting to strike out on his own. He wears simple, light clothes as he's used to being out on the open sea, and carries a scimitar on his person.

His hope is to one day make his own crew and explore the greater world, but for now he sees value in helping the giants, even if he'd rather be taking it easy.
