Pilt was once a smooth talking dark elf scammer, using deception and magical illusions to sell things to unsuspecting common folk. After making his way to the frontier lands of Gildas he hoped to start over and leave his scamming days behind and become a better person. He encounter a creature from the faerie and a magical construct made of a ball bearings, just like Pilt tricked others the faerie creature tricked him into activating the construct which immediately killed him. Pilt clawed his way back to life and vowed to kill the malicious trickster, blaming it for ruining his chance of becoming a good person and redeeming himself.
