What I have stablished about Irwin is:
He is the bastard son of Jarral with a minor noblewoman from Bazagon (from a sort of decadent older house with more name than money), but still raised as someone relatively well-of.,
He saw his father from time to time, but mostly when he was little. The visits became less frequent and Irwin filled the blanks with his wishful thinking.,
Irwin grew up as a scribe and became very good at finding things and knows a lot of lore and stories from all places, though he mostly knows from books and sailor tales, not necessarily the truth.,
He learned to fight and cast spells (usually flavored as stories he tells about the heroes/creatures/places he heard of from all Ichoros) on his own/hiring private tutors, but had little actual combat experience until a few months ago.,
After he learned his father was a) in the city again, b) spared and c) saved by a group of runners, including the "heroic" Arak, he decided to finally leave his mother's home and his job as a scribe to travel, emulating both his father, Arak and other heroes of him, like Cassius, for example.,
He started off with a very idealized, often naive, idea of adventures, but is slowly learning more about people's intentions and that sometimes the moral fiber of heroes is a bit (or a lot...) exaggerated on the stories.,
He has traveled to Gildas (Douxel Vale) and Volanya. Mostly involved on storylines that revolve about finding new lands and/or involving piracy.,
He wants to eventually travel to Grjotgardr to a) personally thank Arak (he doesn't know he's dead) and b) recover his father's scimitar.
