Adventure Goal

A perfect cube of monolithic stone has erected itself in the bowels of the Gauntlet Sprawl. The wooden door has an eye carved into it. The eye bleeds.

Agathon the All-Knowing has arrived and seeks heroes to test his dungeon. Pays 30gp.

The Situation

A goblin tribe wants the Gem of the Dust God to summon their "god." Two problems:

• A large insect keeps eating the red glowing gems they need

• Their two leaders have split and are in a shooting-war over the cursed gem

If the goblins get the gem back to base, something gets summoned. Do not let that happen.

Win Conditions (any one)

1. Destroy the Gem of the Dust God

2. Kill the two Imps stoking the goblin civil war

3. Kill everything

Rewards

100 XP per surviving character, 30gp

Tone

Think Dungeon Crawler Carl, slightly less crass. Agathon narrates and mocks your character, your tactics, and his own minions in equal measure. Back home they called him Agathon the Ass.

Lethality

Spare the Dying is active on the arena. Agathon is testing grit, not scaring off customers. Don't do anything too stupid and you'll walk out.

Create or add your character there. Content sharing is on, so most builds are available. Google Doc characters are fine, but you still need a D\&D Beyond sheet to roll from. Double-check your to-hit, AC, and HP.

About Pilot Sessions

You can play in pilot sessions with your Myriad Legends characters that are level 1 or 2. Pilots are not canon, and they do not have an in-world location. They are for the purpose of sampling applicant GMs. What happens in a pilot does not carry over into the actual campaign, except that a character earns 100 XP by playing in a pilot session and might gain a small amount of treasure.

If you are making a new character to play in a pilot session, select The Gauntlet Sprawl (Bazagon) as your starting location.
