Adventure Type: One-Shot

Adventure Goal: Volunteer as a second for either Crossed Swords or one of the Orc Overseers.

XP Reward: 200 XP per character. Half XP for the character on the losing side (half success)

A hobgoblin stepped off a ship, marched straight up to Durvaskr and made the bold claim (to the Cloud Giant’s knee, no doubt) that his name was Crossed Swords and he was going to run a shift here. Durvaskr sent him rather dismissively to his minotaur adviser, Kratigos. 

Figuring that orcs rallying around one of their overseers would be good for morale, Kratigos decides to open Grags Underground for a fight. and use the results to determine whether to deliver the petition of this “Crossed Swords” character.

The four Overseers—Burgk, Oorkfor, Preed, and Golog—agree to fight for the chance to win part of the house’s cut, well over a week’s wages. By agreement with Grags Underground tradition and as requested by the newcomer's 00tradition, the rules are:

• This is combat #1. The first to win two combats wins the duel.
• Each challenger may select a second (that's you).
• If the Hobgoblin defeats an Orc Overseer, he takes over their position.
• If the Hobgoblin loses, he will reveal his true name and take on a year of service to the Overseer.

Players: Bet on your team and collect the spoils if (when) you win!
