Today, I received a troubling yet intriguing report from one of the hunters. He claims to have witnessed a creature which we’ve come to call a Bloodcoil Leech attacking and killing a boar in the swampy lowlands west. The hunters managed to take it down, but the encounter left an impression. I’m uncertain if this beast is kin to the humble leeches we know, but the hunter’s description; its size, but most importantly necrotic blood, suggests its blood might contain unique reagents. I’m eager to study this further, hoping to unlock potential antidotes or medicines. I’ve posted this request for a skilled team to retrieve a sample. The task won’t be easy, given the creature’s reported strength, but the knowledge gained could be invaluable.
