Celebrations of grudges ended between Clan Utlai & Clan Pakenpot have gone horribly wrong. Demons crash through the venue and Tassi Utlai, daughter to Revocain Utlai the patriarch of Clan Utlai, is kidnapped. Tsa' Alexi Pakenpot, patriarch of Clan Pakenpot, desperately seeks intervention.

When False Shadows turn rabid & a kidnapped grain-supplier vanishes into the maze, the seekers must cross feuding clans, cleanse a saint’s garden, and decide… bury the hatchet, or harvest them.
