As Cingragosa was felled by a group of triumphant Gauntlet runners, the Void Obelisk stood lifeless. As it towered over the small section of the region, something seemed out of place. The ground remained scarred from necrotic desecration, the animals sickly, those who came too close still suffered mild cases of madness. All thought that the obelisk would disappear from the land once Cindragosa was destroyed. However, Mornaga of the Sangrai Death, Cindragosa' s trusted warlock servant, made mention to the adventurers that the obelisk itself held the darkest of secrets as it is a phylactery for her everlasting lichdom patron. Now the obelisk stirs, a rumble can be felt nearby as something awakens once again....
