Todd ("Todd the Frog" to his bullies) is UGLY and he knows it. He has oily, pimpled, greenish skin and somewhat froggish mannerisms. Which is hardly a surprise when you learn the circunstances of his birth.
His mother, a druid, conceived him while wild-shaped in a fling with a giant toad, only discovering she was pregnant much later. She loved him, but she was a flawed mother who never expected a child, let alone one so "unique." She did her best.
At 18, Todd sailed to a distant island to find his father, only to arrive too late and find a hollow, mind-controlled husk. In his grief, he bonded with a strange being known as "The Forest Hag". Her body had been destroyed, but a hag is hard to kill, her spirit still lingered on.
Peering deep into her charmed mirror, Todd found someone who didn't see the monster the rest of the world saw. She saw a man beautiful in his hideousness, possessing a natural gift for magic, exactly the kind of power she needed to get her revenge. And, desperate for validation, Todd gifted his body to house her disembodied soul.
Together, they exacted bloody vengeance. For the wizard who murdered Todd's father was also responsible for the hag losing her mortal body.
The two share the one body, both with a warped sense of beauty.
