Jeb(ediah) Holloway grew up so far out in the wilderness that most maps stopped trying to keep track. At twenty-two, he's still possessed of the sort of boundless optimism usually found in very young children, very old fools, or people who have never had a good reason to doubt themselves.
He speaks with absolute confidence about subjects he knows nothing about and complete uncertainty about subjects he actually understands. He firmly believes destiny has chosen him for some grand purpose and treats every coincidence as further evidence. Destiny itself has thus far declined to comment.
Jeb approaches the world with reckless enthusiasm and insatiable curiosity. Strange ruins, mysterious creatures, ancient prophecies, unexplored forests. To him they're all invitations rather than warnings.
His pockets contain a collection of stones with names, histories, relationships, and occasionally ongoing feuds. He insists several of them are excellent judges of character.
Guild role: Scout, wilderness guide, explorer, monster wrangler, curious magical accident.
Why he left: A portal to another world opened. What more sign did the universe need to provide?
Hope: To see every strange creature and wonder in existence.
Fear: To live a boring life.
Keepsake: An old fishing lure inherited from his grandfather.
Jeb insists it is lucky. Jeb insists it's a bear lure.
Evidence remains inconclusive.
P.s. - Accompanying image is basically a glamour shot of Jeb. Dunno where he got those digs from and who bathed him, must have been the guild.
