APPEARANCE

There is really nothing intimidting about Prudence. Standing at 5'1" on a good day, she is rather thin— the sort whose been given just enough nutrients to make it through a day of training or hard labour. She has curly, shoulder-length white hair, reminiscent of a sheep's woollen coat, that suffers terribly under rainfall and humidity, sticking out every which way it can. Her red eyes are the first hint of her infernal heritage, coupled with the curly goat horns protruding out of the sides of her head— with long, furry ears that droop at the sides of her head.

BACKGROUND

Adopted by the clergy since childhood, Pru was always considered lesser-than amongst her peers, due to her infernal bloodline. She was reminded often that she was brought in only to be made an example of, that even devils could be cleansed or redeemed thanks to “His” infinite mercy. Make no mistake, her acquisition by the clergy was not one out of kindness… but calculated posturing.

Although she was given the bare minimum, sheltered and fed, Pru suffered abuses at the hands of both her equals and superiors, leading to grandiose feelings of inadequacy and severe imposter syndrome. She would often volunteer for punishments in place of her peers with the meagre hope that she may be able to earn their respect or gratitude, even just a little bit.

PERSONALITY

Quiet, unassuming, and rather anxious. Having lived her life under the watchful, extremely judgemental eyes of the church, Pru has had unrealistic, unobtainable expectations laid against her since before she could even speak. Over-apologetic and infuriatingly altruistic, she has a very low sense of self-esteem and self-preservation. She seems prepared to launch herself into conflict and take the brunt of any harm for the sake of others… that doesn’t make her any less fearful in the heat of the moment. Some would argue that bravery is the ideal of pledging yourself to a cause despite trepidation… while others would be sure to remind her that she simply had it coming.
