Valen used to be a Knight of the Kingdom prior to Cataclysm.

Being born to rural area, Valen would be no stranger to labour since young age. Toiling the lands next to subjects made him respect common folk. While working on the countryside steels oneself, Valen lacks in education, to this day being unable to write properly. He is definitely not scholarly type.

When Valen became squire, he witnessed how the nobles would treat the servants and slowly started to despise their elitism. This led to Valen often helping out in local church to help the less fortunate, in time earning the favour of the goddess, gaining him divine gifts.

Valen is in his late twenties, wields a lance and dons heavy armour to act as a line of defence.
