You gain a Salt Pool with a maximum number of points equal to your proficiency bonus.
When you take damage, you may spend Salt points to reduce that damage by 1d4 per point spent.
You may spend 1 Salt point to ignore difficult terrain caused by water, mud, blood, or corpses until the end of your current turn.
When a creature within 30 feet of you drops to 0 hit points, you may regain 1 spent Salt point. You cannot regain more than 1 point per round this way.
Recovery
All expended Salt points are regained when you finish a long rest.
Drawback
Tidebound agents treat nearby deaths as your responsibility.
Refusing a corpse claim made in your presence is considered defiance and will provoke escalation.
