Recovering the Yogag Abthink is a 3 part story arc. Participating in this adventure, "The Price of Passage" does not require you to commit to subsequent adventures in the arc, but the expectation is for them to be run at the same time each week until the arc is finished or abandoned.

A representative of the Redmark Clans from the opposite side of the western mountains has made the long trek to Farhearth. One of their Yogag Abthink, massive ancient harpoons buried deep in the sand, has gone missing. To move one of these would take a massive undertaking if it were merely lying on the earth, not buried tip-down 30 feet into the ground.

The Yogag Abthink are used in every aspect of Redmark life. They are used as lightning rods for windglass harvesting, for hunting and harvesting sand wurms, and as wayfinders for navigating the deadly desert of Shuggothnah. Without the money, food, or navigation provided by this stolen pillar, many deaths are inevitable.

Rumor has it that there is a harpoon available, still mounted to the harpoon gun of a shipwrecked galleon far South, on the tip of Nwnglui ot Uh’enyth. You will need a ship to get there, and to get the item back. Luckily, Vanys has a lead for you to follow. A ship's captain that might just be desperate enough to take you. You'll need to do something for him, to secure passage, though.
