Philosophy: When i run a game, i think of myself first and foremost as the biggest fan to the PCs. This, to me, means two things:

1. I want you all to succeed! Too many gms view dnd as a pvp game between PC and GM, as if at the end of this a successful game master has killed all his players and made their lives miserable..not me! For most of us dnd is the creative outlet to get to be the hero we arent normally in real life, so why make it a bad story?
2. That being said, I do still aim to challenge our heroes, because my hero fantasies usually involve heroes overcoming the odds..because we all want to see theseus best the minitaur, not hercules mucking out the stalls
