Alec is a familiar trainer turned adventurer with a protective streak. Pikat, his familiar, is a free-spirited and lovable scamp. He often changes shapes to confuse Alec. He will refuse to follow Alec's instructions when he disagrees. However, when things are dire, or when he feels Alec really needs him, Pikat shows the golden heart of a hero.

When he began adventuring, Alec found himself needing to use his magical skills to keep his beloved familiar safe. Alec first thought he'd found his niche making gadgets for his familiar buddy; however, he quickly found he was much more capable when he hit the books. Alec is an eager, friendly young man of medium height and build. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and a pleasant face. With his buddy at his side, Alec is looking to find his way in a world of adventure.
