Vaelira Asterayne is a 184 year old Astral Elf and a Pact of the Blade Warlock. She spent much of her life wandering the Astral Plane before eventually becoming curious about the mortal world and deciding to see it for herself. During her travels she even crossed paths with Celestian, although she still isn't completely sure why a god took an interest in her.
She has long black hair, golden green eyes and usually wears dark clothes with jewelry and small celestial details. She likes looking elegant even when she knows she is probably going to end up covered in ash or blood by the end of the day.
After coming to the mortal world she became interested in blacksmithing and eventually started taking it seriously. She wants to open her own forge, learn how to enchant the weapons she makes and search for rare materials that she can't simply buy from a normal merchant. Her biggest goal is to one day forge a legendary weapon that people will remember along with the name of the person who made it.
Vaelira is confident, curious and a little too comfortable getting herself into trouble. She likes teasing people, can be pretty cheeky and flirtatious, and enjoys seeing how people react to her. She doesn't scare easily and being told that something is dangerous usually just makes her more interested. She acts like she doesn't get attached to people very easily, but that isn't quite true.
