Clovis was a friend of Hugo’s, one of the five warriors forced to fight the monsters terrorizing their village. As the oldest, he took it upon himself to protect the other four, but when all went wrong and two of them died, he couldn’t bring himself to show his face. He wandered alone for years, offering his services to anyone in need, hoping to redeem himself one day.
