Roe was born as Scrodinger Gydinstarr from his father's multiple attempts of trying to escape the utopia home that his father and those like him was born into. Saved from the cataclysm as gods warred against one another, the being known only in passages and scripts as the "EverLight" which was named as such for the daily changing oversized crystal holding aloft as a protection for their island utopia. The labyrinthia created deep in an unknown dungeon was meant to keep danger out and the people inside safe, but since over a couple millennia since it occurred so truth became legend and legend myth. His siblings were three older brothers a couple hundred years ahead and one sister a few years ahead of him. the sister and next oldest brother had become a light in his father's life, keeping his spirits raised when adventurers would go missing only to have their armor returned..and their flesh not but ash..in a couple years it would be his turn in his sisters place, but in an act of rebellion the sister snuck off to join the next venture into the dungeon labyrinthia. and soon too they also fell with her necklace our father had given her on her 16th..an everlight gem found in one of the mines beneath the crystal held aloft. with all of his siblings gone Roe decided to stick next to his father and help him continue his work. that night he came down with a ailment that had been plaguing the town, exhausted Roe went to lay down unable to stand looking up at his father he firmly as he could held his hand gripped in his own, "I'm just tired father, we can make it work..trust me, never lose faith in the EverLight. She will guide our way home to the crust above, we will find our way..our way..home," Roe spoke softly before sleep finally claimed him and his eyes closed; his mind focused on helping his father save their people.

Time passed while he slept this as his body fought off the infection, a long dreamless sleep..while his father continued working on finding a way to the surface. with his son still asleep he found other means, in ways of creating constructs to assist him in his needs. His father kept dealing with setbacks, as one construct would fail him another would be made until that one would fail. over time the virile man aged til the constructs needed to be relied upon more and more...until at long last he had found it the answer...the cure for his son and the means of their escape, but to do so, it would take a great sacrifice. to save his people the father had to do the unthinkable..
