The time has come for the continuation of the saga of the Bone Garden.
"So, after the last foray, a group decided to venture into the Bone Garden once more. I was still saving up for a house, so, back into the unholy death trap.
"This time, though, we came prepared. Both with explosives and holy water. Knowing the location of the Bone Devil's lair—and the hefty price on its head—we cautiously made our way in. Suspiciously, the way was open when we arrived. There was some Infernal chanting; can't even remember if anyone could make sense of it. We kept extremely alert, no corner unchecked, and inched our way in.
"There were a number of undead and oozes in the way. While we were clearing them, we heard the exit begin to seal shut behind us. The entire place was made of bones, like a cavern of them, and they were knitting together behind us.
"But we were prepared for that, because that had happened last time. There was only one thing for it: dynamite.
"We blasted the exit back open, but not without attracting the attention of that devil and its friends. Ghosts were able to pass freely through the bone walls; they got Myndle, but I was able to get her back up. Synop mages aren't exactly specialist healers, but we can manage a bit, even in these realms.
"Between myself, Crakador, Lux, and Myndle, we did enough damage to take the devil down, and everything in a modest radius around it. Lux dealt the final blow to the devil.
"We scattered the bones around to stop them reforming. I honestly can't say it ever made much difference. It seemed most times we went back, there were even more undead no matter how any inane disposal instructions we followed from that gardener.
"And then, we heard something else, deeper in that place. Discretion being the better part of valor, we hoofed it and left that mystery for another day."
Iuri takes a silver trowel from his belt. Those who have adventured with him will recognize that it fills the same function as a dagger. "I did receive this from the gardener. Perhaps the best thing to come out of that garden where I'm concerned."
