GATE 1 - A gate has opened up in the Upper West Side; in front of the Children's Museum of Manhattan. As you turn from Broadway to 83rd Street, the street gets quieter. There is a cough in the distance and the sound of an alley cat scurrying away. The whirling gate portal appears right in the side of the museum's wall by the taped-off entrance.

GATE 2 - A gate has opened up in East Chelsea; in Chelsea Park, right in front of the bathrooms. The reflection of the sun off the restroom sign blinds you if it hits your eyes just right. The area around the portal has been blocked off, but there are several onlookers and a few news reporters nearby. You hear people comment on the "E-Rank Hunters" and how they are "probably gonna die in there".

GATE 3 - A gate has opened up underneath the Ed Koch Queens Bridge. The beautiful old architecture looms above your head as you approach the humming portal. People rush past you, not looking up from their stride; cabs honk, people yell, and some children play across the street in the playground. The portal is lazily taped off from public, but no one seems to care. Just another day in the big city.

GATE 4 - A gate has opened up in the East Harlem; at the subway entrance of 141 Tito Puente Way and Lexington Ave. You smell the Spanish food, the spices, the warm air; you hear the laughter and the haggling of vendors on the street and cab drivers honking and yelling at pedestrians to move out of the road. The gate is located at the entrance of the subway stairs itself. As you approach, you hear the whirling hum of the gate.

GATE 5 - A Gate has opened up in front of the GhostBusters's Headquarters... There is something bad in this neighborhood, but the busters aren't on call anymore to save NYC... but you are. The gate is located in the alleyway to the left of the building. The glow of the portal looks eerie right next to the iconic building.

GATE 6 - A gate has opened up in the East River Water park, just East of Chinatown. They JUST finished renovations from a dungeon break that happened a few months ago here, so the workers that are there are really fed up. The gate is located among the construction zone, and as you approach, you can smell the river's musty smell, as the waves hit the barrier wall.

As you know, dungeon gates open up randomly around our city all the time, and our hunters here get opportunities to serve the city by closing all of these gates before they break and wreak havoc around our beautiful city.

Dungeon gates are dangerous, and we know that you put your lives at risk every day (especially the lower rank hunters), but you are needed to fight to save the regular civilians who haven't awakened as hunters. The materials that are located in these gates are also very precious to the world economy. Certain stones and crystals are used now in everyday life for energy sourcing, building materials and so forth. Without the cultivation and harvesting of these materials, our great city would be forced to import these resources from other cities and districts.
