Azrakar Veskrael is a lanky but gymnastically toned individual. He has ash-colored skin that's cold to the touch. On his back just beneath his tattered, bloodstained wrappings is a patchwork of runes brutally carved into his skin. His eyes are like lava, though they are hidden by a blindfold tied in an elaborate knot, just below which lies two rows of closed eyelids. His long unkempt hair frames his face, and contains a single long braid. His ears have a large collection of mismatched earrings, some stolen, some remnants of a past life which occasionally rip free. Around his arms are concentric golden rings that radiate molten heat and light when he uses his abilities. He wears little armor, no shoes, and has cut slits in the back of his garments. He has a medium pitched voice that sounds slightly pained, as if speaking hurts, and his motions in battle flow like a dance.

Azrakar is an odd man. He leans close to fires, hums lullabies when resting, apologizes softly after killing, avoids stepping on flowers, and accidentally speaks another language when startled. Animals act strangely around him.
