Jump right in with our Quickstart Adventure: The Sablewood Messengers. This guided experience will walk a Game Master and 2-5 players through a quest deep in the ancient forest of Sablewood. With the rulebook in hand and a step-by-step scenario to lead you, you’ll go from page to play in no time.

What you should bring:

• A pencil
• Paper to take notes
• A set of polyhedral dice: 4-sided (d4), 6-sided (d6), 8-sided (d8), 10-sided (d10), 12-sided (d12) and twenty-sided (d20). Ideally, one set per player.
• A set of two d12s of different colors.
• A handful of character tokens, at least 7.
  These can be anything small you have lying around that
  won’t be confused for dice (buttons, pennies, chits, etc.).
