Enkai is not exactly a resident of Elmore, although he is definitely part of the community. He is the Wild Man of Plover Woods; an unkempt greying dwarf with twigs and mice in his beard that has lived in the woods just outside town for decades, maybe centuries (not 100% on how long dwarves live in the setting). Sometimes, he's a badger. He's a little kooky, and can be a little awkward because the tends to talk to trees more often than people, but he's friendly enough. He comes into town once or twice a year to trade and occasionally runs into townsfolk in the woods. He is known to be a herbalist and is sometimes sought to help cure ailments.

He is concerned with the loss of the Lure, possibly being one of the first to notice its waning effects. If folks are going to brave the depths of Plover Cave to find out what is wrong with the lure, he is definitely on board.
