Once a fortress built during the Border Wars, Ashfang Hall now serves as the headquarters of the Black Wolf Company. Its black stone walls are scarred with the marks of old sieges and fire, and its banner—a wolf’s head over crossed blades—flies proudly above the gate.
Inside, the air hums with the rhythm of mercenary life: the clash of sparring steel in the courtyard, the scent of oil and smoke from the armory, and the low murmur of Wolves sharing drink and rumor in the mess. Maps, contracts, and bounty parchments crowd the war room walls, while the great hall’s hearth burns day and night—a symbol that the Company endures, no matter how dark the times.
Beneath the camaraderie, however, tension simmers. Whispers of betrayal and lost brothers still echo through the ranks, and the leadership knows that every new contract could be the one that decides whether the Wolves rise again… or finally fade into legend.
