👤 About Me

Just a normal dad of three navigating the chaos of parenthood and dungeons in equal measure. I got into DMing because I genuinely enjoy bringing people together around a table or in this case, a screen. And building something none of us could have made alone.

I'm always looking to improve my craft and I love trying out new ideas. If something sounds fun and hasn't been done before, I'm probably already thinking about how to make it work.

Fair warning though! Dad jokes may occur. Frequently. Without apology. 😄

🎨 My DM Style

• Immersive & Visual — I run sessions using 3D virtual tabletops to make the world feel as real and alive as possible. I want you to feel like you're actually there, not just looking at tokens on a grid.
• Inclusive — I make a point of making sure everyone at the table gets a moment to shine. No one gets left behind or talked over on my watch.
• Narrative First — I care more about the story we're building together than getting every rule exactly right. I'll do my best to follow the rules but the story always comes first.
• Light-hearted — Expect the occasional joke or bit of banter between the serious moments. Good vibes are part of the session.

📅 Availability

I do my best to show up — but I'm a father of three first, and that comes before everything else. My schedule can shift unexpectedly and I appreciate your understanding when it does.

When I'm available I'll post sessions with as much notice as possible. If something comes up and I need to reschedule, I'll let everyone know as early as I can.

Life happens. We roll with it. 🎲

⚙️ Preferences

Character Sheets Please build your character on D&D Beyond and set your sheet to Public. This makes it easy for me to quickly review and verify your character without having to ask you to send screenshots or PDFs.

Virtual Tabletops I use three VTTs depending on the session:

• 🎮 TaleSpire (preferred) — fully 3D and immersive, my go-to for most sessions
• 🦉 Owlbear Rodeo — lightweight and easy to jump into
• 🏰 Foundry VTT — for more complex encounters when needed

I lean heavily towards TaleSpire because I want players to experience something different from the standard top-down 2D session. It adds a whole other layer to the game. So click here to learn more about it.

Rules I'm not a hardline rules lawyer. I'll follow the rules as best I can but if something makes the story better, we'll find a way to make it work. Rulings over rules, always.
