A once-haunted house at the southern edge of Dawnport has now been reopened as a rentable stop for those traveling out of port. What was once a place of grief and ruin has, by noble decree and commercial haste, been given a fresh coat of paint and a new purpose. Yet some things were never truly laid to rest.
Among the remnants of the Yewbane tragedy remains a pot of blue spider lilies, strange and carefully preserved. Unknown to most, the lingering souls of Jasmine and young Timmy Yewbane now rest within the flowers, bound there by longing rather than malice. They do not seek revenge. They seek only one final journey.
Word has reached the right ears that Marvrich Yewbane, long believed lost, may yet be found — not among the living roads of Dawnport, but somewhere within the road of Aethermarch...
